Dover & my pressing need to leave the UK

OK - before I tell you about my trip to Dover today - which, albeit rainy, was lovely - let me tell you that I think it's time to leave the UK. Now there has been this incident at the Glasgow Airport in Scotland. This car running into the airport? Today I got off the tube at Farringdon Station and I kid you not - there were 10 bobbies & a police dog that greeted me coming through the exit. They were sniffing people for stuff! They are out there looking for someone. So, July 7th needs to come so that I can leave the UK. It's getting a bit nutty here.

This did not stop us from taking our trip today. Stephanie - a classmate of mine - and I took the train to Dover early this morning. Unfortunately it rained much of the time that we were there, so we didn't get glorious view of the cliffs of Dover, but we did get some good pictures. I had fun exploring the town and taking lots of fun PICTURES. We went to the castle and did the secret war tunnels tour which I think that my Dad would have loved. It was right up his alley. Steph also took a PICTURE OF ME that I think is my favorite thus far in Europe - we're up on the roof of the castle. We hiked up the looooong cliff to the park, but then it got really foggy and not all of the pictures came out that well. For example, this picture is one that is looking down over onto the cliffs and the water below, but it's difficult to tell.

So, tomorrow we're going to Avesbury and Stonehenge. We decided that this trip was so lovely, we'd do it again!
