Hot & steamy in Germany

Oh boy, it is HOT here today. I'm feeling a bit sticky. It's not humid though - so it's not too bad. This morning I took the U-Bahn out as far as I could on one of the lines and walked back through the parks & forests. It was a REALLY long walk. I started to get concerned after awhile because I - not really thinking - hadn't brought much water with me. Just when I thought I was just going to lie in the grass and wait for some soul to find me I stumbled into the National Natural Museum which had a cafe open (thank goodness - BTW, don't come to Germany on a Monday. NOTHING is open - not unlike Paris.) I managed to find my way allllll the way back. I sat in another biergarten and had pork, potato salad and pils for lunch, followed with an ice cream bar. Then I talked to Mom & Dad on the phone for a good hour and 45 minutes. Now I'm back at my hotel taking a breather from all the walking. Later I'm going to go back to the Fischmarkt and get some dinner. I did take a few PICTURES today, but mostly I'm just lazy. I hope my uncle has stuff he wants to see, because me - I'm just happy to be here. If not, it'll go like this:

Him: Whaddya wanna do?
Me: Uh. Whatever. What do YOU wanna do?
Him: That's your job.
Me: Hunh. Guess we're in trouble then.

It's going to be a riot.

Ugh. I'm a bit whomped from my walk.
