Don't get me wrong - I love my roomies. But they watch TV really loud & bicker with each other all day long. It makes it nigh near impossible to get my school work done effectively. Especially with the TV going. I just am not that big a fan of TV any more & I never understand what the allure of watching it ALL the time is. I suppose it takes away the thought requirement. Unless you're watching PBS or something - you probably don't need to think about much. Just follow the plot line. It is somewhat like taking all the work out of reading. It doesn't involve must active thought, as a rule. I guess I just really, really like quiet. And sometimes that is really difficult to get here. I do love where I live, this works out very well & everything. I'm just annoyed sometimes at the massive amount of auditory static.
Oh...this just compounds that I am NOT cut out for kids. Oh, no. There would need to be a 24/7/365 nanny to deal with that. It would be very Joan Crawford of me. Eek.
