What the HECK? I hate this - I really do. This is the weakest dollar in, oh, 20 years. And I get to be traveling abroad right now. Whiny me - but it seriously hurts the pocketbook. At least I'm not in Britain anymore. But it does make me consider even more seriously working abroad when I'm done with law school. Go work in Great Britain to pay off all my student loan debt faster. It will seem insanely easy when I return to the states and a dollar is really and truly a dollar. Oy.

Today was a really laid back day. Lorelei dropped Leecy off at preschool for the day (she goes 1 day a week) and we went to a local mall. I needed some stuff - I replaced my kangaroo charm - and then we just came home and hung out. I had the best kebab ever for lunch. It was really good. Then this evening Robyn and I went and saw the movie "License to Wed" - which was ok. Comme ci, comme ca - as the French would say. It was cute. I think if someone asked, I'd say wait and rent it when it comes out. Add it to your NetFlix account. Don't see it in the theatre. There are so so so many movies I want to see.

Tomorrow I'm going to go wander around Sydney on my own. Just enjoy the city. I want to find a book on Vienna and explore on my own a bit. I'm actually feeling a bit ragged. I haven't had much time to read and relax. I love having my own personal tour guides - everyone has been so sweet to me! I just need a bit of down time to look around me. I haven't read the paper since I've been here and I'm going mad for knowing what is going on in the world!
